Greetings my Brothers,

The variety of changes which each season displays to the discerning eye reminds me that we are already a quarter of the way through our Masonic year.  Spring is here, there are buds on the trees, and the sun was still up when I got to Lodge on our meeting night for the first time this year, I would love to have added it was warm, but alas, that was not the case!

It’s going to be a busy month this April.  The officers will be attending two DDGM visitations this month, Overseas on the 12th and St Johns 1P on the 20th, and we would love to see you join us on our travels.

On the 24th we will be holding our monthly family pot luck dinner at 5:00pm, these gatherings are great fun and a great way to get to know your fellow Brothers and their families, if you haven’t attended one previously no reservations are required, just come with a dish to share and be ready to have a fun evening.

On April 25th we will have our regularly scheduled stated communication.  The lodge will open in the Entered Apprentice Degree again this month, and will feature a presentation from RW Chris Murphy, Grand Historian for the Grand Lodge of Vermont, current Master of Adorian Lodge #42 and Fellow of the Philalethes Society, titled ““Unfold the Mysteries of Godliness”: Divine Revelation in the Prayers of a Freemason” where he will examine three examples of early Masonic prayer, and will have a conversation about the intensely spiritual teachings foundational to our Institution.  Further, we will be able to see how these same lessons are presented in our contemporary Lodges, thus cementing the esoteric philosophies of our Gentle Craft..

Tickets and registrations are now available for the Adult “No Rules” Pinewood derby to be held on June 25th, cost $15 for dinner and $15 per race car registered, Sign up now at or contact one of our officers for details.

We end the month with the Jenks Club 24 Speakeasy which is finally here!  I can’t tell you how excited I am for this event.  So those of you with tickets it is time to get those 1920s outfits ready!

I hope you all have a wonderful month, get out and enjoy the spring weather, (when it actually shows up), and plan on getting together with us this month for another great month of fellowship and Brotherhood.

Yours in the Craft

Mark Lomastro
