Greetings Wardens and Brothers,
December is already here! Where did this year go? As the Holiday Season is now in full swing, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, spent with loved ones and friends and that the upcoming Holidays you celebrate bring you peace, happiness and joy. I would like to express how truly thankful I am to be the Mater of one of the finest lodges in the State. I am truly blessed to have you all in my life and so very proud of the work this lodge has accomplished (both inside and outside of the Temple) this year.
Our November Stated Communication was one of the most productive and informative of the year, seeing all 9 of or Master Mason Candidates perform their proficiency, in a truly exemplary manner, sign the Bylaws of the Lodge, and finally get to sit in the South! Great job brothers! I’m looking forward to your impact on the lodge in the coming years. We also had Special Guest Speakers RW Chris Busby and Br Michael Brown II give an incredible entertaining and interactive lecture on the performance and understanding of ritual. Overall, it was a night that I will carry with me for many years to come.
As we look ahead, a reminder that our December Stated Communication will be moved to the third Monday of the month, December 18, 2023, as our usual date falls on Christmas Day. This will also be an Officers Step Up Opening and Close, as well as Awards Night. I look forward to seeing you all there!
We will also be having our Annual Jenks Holiday Pot Luck (AKA Jenkgiving or Jenksmas, depending on the time of year) on December 30. This will be a Pot Luck style dinner, all members, family and friends are welcome to attend. Brother Secretary will be sending out more information in the coming days.
Finally, this will be my final message as Master, it has been one of the great honors of my life to have served you as Master of the lodge and to have been entrusted with the welfare and governing of the lodge this year. Thank you all for putting your trust in me. I have been truly blessed to have been supported by the finest officers, members and candidates any one could have asked for. I have no doubt that I will look back on the time spent in the East with great joy and pride. Thank you.
I hope you all have a happy and healthy Holiday Season. May the blessings of heaven rest upon us and all regular Mason, may brotherly love prevail and every moral and social virtue cement us.
Fiat Lux,
Robert C Frank
