Happy May brethren!

We again have a good number of events coming up soon, with the visit to our sister lodge Ancient York in Nashua, NH on May 4, two in-district annuals, the Grand Lodge annual and a very cool stated on Tuesday, May 28 featuring our candidates’ EA proficiency and a presentation of historical Masonic items. The officers and I are also making our annual visit to our Lester Gavel holder, Brother Harry Harootunian in Pennsylvania on June 1 and you are welcome to join us.

Now the weather is finally breaking I know my mood gets better and I can see it in others. Spring is an amazing time. Our energy level is up, our smiles are up and we are more inclined to get really active. That’s great – Let’s get out there and do good for others! However, don’t forget we are human Beings not human Doings. I implore you to take some time to just sit and enjoy the sun on your skin and the blue of the sky, to watch a child laugh and play with their parents, or to sit alone and make new plans for the coming months. I particularly urge you to sit still and meditate (or try to!) for 20 minutes. Two quotes from my teachers come to mind here that I will part with. “If you don’t have 20 minutes to meditate, you need two hours.”
“Go within…or go without.” Happy May to you my brothers. See you soon!!
