Well brothers, Fall is upon us and with the time change our days seem a lot shorter. Try to get outside and get your Vitamin D, especially as the cold season is coming too.
We’re having a very busy month with fundraising, social events, speakers and lodge events. Be sure to keep up with the goings-on and plug in when you can.
Studio 24 was a blast – you guys all looked so awesome! A large group of us went out to Twin River to dance afterwards- all in costume! Jenks, you rock!
The Goldenberg Symposium this year featured RW Brother Ryan Flynn who is an honorary member of Jenks Lodge. His presentation on a deeper look into DaVinci was incredible. I learned so much, which is normal for RW Flynn’s visits! Thank you so much!
Don’t forget we have the Grand Lodge Semi-Annual on the 16th, which the top 3 officers are expected to attend. Later that evening is the Fall Festival – I hope you bought your tickets! The next night is the Comedy Night at Comedy Connection to raise funds for Special Olympics. That is always a seriously fun evening! I urge you to join us!
On Nov 22 I will be speaking at Lumen Scientae, a Masonic research group in Massachusetts. It will be a version of my program on freemasonry and martial arts which I’ve presented at Jenks in the past, and will be held at Ezekiel Bates Lodge in Attleboro.
The very next day we are trying to put together a nice cleaning party for the lodge, to prepare for our Nov 25 stated, the proficiency, step up and awards night on December 16, and the Annual on January 4th. Come lend a hand for an hour or two if you can!
Happy November to all!
Rick Wilmott, WM
