Brethren,
I cannot express to you how much your support meant to me at our Semi-Public Annual Communication this year. I want to start by saying Thank you. The Officers, brothers and their families made it a memorable and heart warming evening. Congratulations to my officers for the great work and dedication.
Some of my oldest friends (who happen to also be brothers) put in a ton of effort and surprised not only me, but I think almost every person in the room. Thank you Worshipful Rainone, Worshipful Frank, Right Worshipful Martin and Right Worshipful Saraidarian for making the prologue and installation spectacular! I’m sure every new Master feels their installation is special, memorable and unique, but most of them never get to experience unseen ritual from some of the best ritualists in the Jurisdiction. #Prologue24 I was extremely pleased to have our Most Worshipful Grand Master Andre H. Faria, and many members of his Grand Line present. Their support for our lodge, our ritual, and of course the newest Master is unwavering and most appreciated.
I am grateful for each and every one of you who helped make it a successful evening, all your hard work did not go unnoticed. Our Junior Past Master, Worshipful Wilmott had an amazing year, and was an invaluable resource to me. Brother, your work will not be soon forgotten!
I am looking forward to using my new gavel, which Brother Senior Warden tells me sparkles like the sun from the East, at our first communication this year. My Brother (Evan White) and Worshipful Frank crafted a piece to behold. Thank you both for the amazing gift.
At the Communication on the 27th, I hope we will all join in a lively and spirited discussion about a few of our Short Talk Bulletins that are now posted on Grandview. I know I have found the August 2024, March 2024, & March 2023 unique and invite you to read them so we can dig into their content together and have a discussion about what they mean to you, and how you feel they might relate to our lodge and the craft.
Looking forward, please mark your calendars for our Regular Communication on January 27th, and on February 25th for our Entered Apprentice Degree. For our March 24th Communication We will be welcoming our own District Deputy Grand Master for the Metro District, Stephan H. Saraidarian. Our Jenks Spring Smoker will be held the week of February 17th (Thursday the 20th probably) I hope you will come out and enjoy an evening of fraternity and frivolity. And on March 8th, we will have a movie night at the lodge
I want to wrap this message up with one last group to thank, my amazing Family. My Wife (Betsy) and the “Arctic Fox Kits” Amelia, Beatrice, Clara, Darcy, Eloise and Finn. Without their love, support, and help I would be lost.
My big family wants to invite you and yours to our monthly pot lucks. We meet every third Sunday at 5p. Bring your family, and some food to share and my big family will be there to show you how to make our “big Jenks family” louder and more fun then a barrel full of monkeys.
