Happy St. Patrick’s Day brethren!
February was another busy month at Jenks Lodge with the New MM Workshop, a four-lodge Super Bowl Party, our annual Cigar Dinner, and TWO Entered Apprentice degrees for seven candidates that went very well! I’m very proud of the officers for working hard to prepare and for keeping their focus to make the second degree even better than the first!
This month we also have a lot going on. We congratulate Brother Sentinel, Luis Ortiz and his now fiancée Brittany on getting engaged…right at the lodge! We were all so excited to be part of your special day. Thanks for sharing that with us!
Our District Deputy Grand Master, R:.W:. Eric Grist official visitation to Jenks Lodge is this month on the 25th. We will be opening and closing in EA so that our newest masons can attend, and I am pleased to announce that our speaker will be R:.W:. Oscar Alleyne from New York. Those of us who have witnessed Brother Alleyne speak before know he always does an amazing job.
We are getting super excited for this year’s Grand Master’s Testimonial Dinner as it’s for one of our very own, Most Worshipful Doug Grant! It will take place at Harbor Lights in Warwick on Friday, April 5. Be sure to get your tickets soon on the JenksLodge.com website or from Brother Senior Deacon, Brother Senior Warden or myself. Don’t miss celebrating one our very own with a few hundred other masons from the state!!
I have decided to postpone the Studio 24 event until a little later in year as the officers and I are out straight with everything else going on. I want to be able to give it more attention than I am able to right now, so that it’s another amazing event. I apologize for the delay but I promise it will be worth the wait! Those who have already purchased tickets can get a refund or apply it to the new date if you choose. I will be selecting the new date soon.
